Berling Capital Oy is a single-Family Office, with operational history dating back to 1976. The first 10 years of the company were consulting and small-scale investment activities. In 1986, the company became a General Partner with Private Equity principles. The investments were made solely with the company’s and owner’s own money without external capital. This GP operation continued for about 30 years until 2014.

Approximately forty mergers and acquisitions were made during the years as a General Partner. At its peak, the majority-owned companies employed approximately 700 people.

Berling Capital's business operations changed from Private Equity GP- operations to operating as a Private Equity LP in 2014, and the LP- operation continues to this day. Today, we invest in public equities and derivatives in addition to Private Equity funds.
